4-4-4 Barnacles Triplex aluminum wire has three conductors, with one of them being for neutral path, and two electrodes. Primarily used for overhead service applications such as street lighting , outerdoor lighting , and temporary service for construction. To be used at votages of 600 V phase to phase or less and at conductor temperatures not to exceed 75ºC for Polyethylene insulated conductors A bare messenger wire of this electrical cable is bonded closely on the two insulated aluminum conductors, which are individually insulated with black cross-linked polyethylene for protection.
